What participants say

Taking a workshop with Vineet and Rohit is a transformative experience. The one to one instruction is unlimited and the attention to detail unparalleled. The ability to learn and grow as a photographer in an encouraging environment alongside others who share the same goals is not easily found elsewhere. I have built a community of friends while also learning to be a better photographer. I highly recommend both Rohit and Vineet for taking photography to the next level.

Thank you Rohit and Vineet for this amazing experience. Going in, I thought I would come out a better photographer, which I think I did, but I also came out seeing a lot more detail in the world around me.

Abhinit Tiwari

Attending the workshops with Vineet and Rohit — two very different mentors — was an incredible experience. Each mentor brought a unique perspective and expertise to the table, allowing me to see their different techniques, perspectives, and humour. Overall, the workshop was a very enriching experience and a huge amount of fun due to the amazing participants. I would highly recommend learning from multiple mentors to gain a diverse range of knowledge and inspiration.

First of all, thank you very much for having me join this wonderful event as it was my first time attending a photography workshop. Great people, great places and of course great masters. I had learnt a lot about how to approach the scenes, how to frame what I am interested in and how to create my own voice. It would be very nice to have a few more chances to walk around with you in the future.

Thank you so much for this valuable opportunity to learn photography not just as a craft but also as a philosophy. We were truly in great hands being led by Vineet and Rohit. It has been a pleasure shooting with all of you. I am keen to see how much we all develop as photographers.

I have, to date, attended three workshops organised by Vineet and Rohit Vohra in several Indian cities including New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Varanasi. The organisation, attention to detail and the practicalities of undertaking photography has without exception been first class. Vineet and Rohit both have intimate knowledge and understanding of the most appropriate locations and timings needed to capture exciting imagery. Above all their approach is one of guidance and support. I can honestly say I have improved immeasurably as a photographer and benefitted from being part of a group of like minded individuals.

I appreciated how Vineet and Rohit structured the workshop so everyone could see an improvement in their work. Their lectures and feedback were clear, insightful and very helpful. I felt a considerable improvement in my photography in a short period of time.

Vohra brothers are the ultimate artists of street photography. Their dedication towards this art and their sincere efforts to prepare us for street photography is indeed commendable. Singapore workshop has been the most interesting session among all the sessions I have attended so far. As William Arthur Ward said, the great teacher inspires — Vineet and Rohit, you inspire us every day.

Nothing sugar coated but straight to the points. Powerful technicality and skills aside, I love the kind reminders about shooting for ourselves rather than for likes, having fun and enjoying the process as the core of street photography. I have so much to take away from the workshop.

This workshop has opened my eyes on photography. Nothing beats observing the masters doing it in real life. I have learnt not to be afraid and just go with the flow. Seeking order in chaos. Finding something in nothing. The Vohra brothers are truly two of the best street photographers alive today.

When I got to know about the APF workshop in Singapore, I made a quick decision without thinking twice. On the way back to Jakarta, I talked to myself that I had found my teachers, my street photography teachers. As mentors, the Vohra brothers are superior, humble and wise.

A good teacher shows the student what is possible and how to go there. Vineet and Rohit demonstrated exactly that during the workshop. They were always available with suggestions and even managed to track down wandering students to offer their insights. Thank you for expanding my photography horizons.

At first, I joined the workshop expecting to learn the technical aspects of capturing street photography. While the past three days certainly provided that, what I gained was far more. I learnt that a successful street photograph comes with 99 other failures. I learnt to embrace what I like and shoot what I want, the way I want. The refreshingly honest critique was necessary if we want to improve, and I really appreciated that.

Vineet and Rohit are beyond great photographers. They are humble, honest and creative people who can show you the decisive moment that happens in between the busy bustle of life. Their workshops are a must-do for anyone serious about street — not just for the lessons, but also for the connections you make with other like-minded photographers.

Adhiraj Ghosh

The Vohra brothers are generous teachers of photography. Their enthusiasm for the street rubs off on you. Whatever stage of photography you are pursuing, they offered steadfast advice to everyone in the class such that every student was able to gain more insights into thinking about photography and ways they can develop their craft further.

Mindy Tan

Thank you for generously sharing your wealth of knowledge with us. Such an incredible weekend. Thank you for pouring into my empty cup. You two are such kind souls.

Winda Kelly

Thank you for your effort to open our mind and perception about street photography. The 3 Hells and the magic words — things that stay with you long after the workshop ends.

J. Teguh Widjaja

Thank you, Vineet and Rohit, for sharing not just your knowledge, but your way of observing the world. Every street, every corner, every passing moment became a reminder that photographs are not found they are patiently discovered. I came to Mumbai hoping to make better pictures. I left with something far more valuable a different way of looking. Learning to slow down, anticipate moments, simplify a frame, and let stories unfold naturally has changed the way I approach street photography. The streets are still the same. The difference is how I see them now. Grateful for the experience, the conversations, the laughter, and the lessons. Until we meet again.

I have done a number of workshops around the world and can comfortably say that working with APF has been the best. The time taken to focus on you as a participant as well as Socratic learning and desk based sessions is second to none. When on the streets you receive an equal amount of attention and provided specific and tailored steers and advise. You can take this as far as you want - if you’re happy taking street scene snaps, that’s fine, but if you want to work through what makes you, you, then you will receive that too. Thoroughly recommend!

This was my first workshop with Vineet sir, and it was an enriching experience from start to finish. Today, almost everyone carries a camera in one form or another. Yet, the ability to use this powerful tool creatively and meaningfully is surprisingly rare. That is where Vineet sir stands apart. He is a prolific photographer, a true master of the craft, and an exceptional teacher—all seamlessly combined in one person. Throughout the two days, he constantly nudged, guided, challenged, and inspired us to see beyond the obvious. More importantly, he took the time to identify the unique shortcomings in each participant's technique and approach, offering candid, personalized feedback that was both insightful and immensely valuable. Rather than simply teaching techniques, he encouraged us to think differently, observe more deeply, and develop our own photographic vision. The workshop offers far more than can be absorbed in just two days. It is ultimately up to each of us to reflect on his insights, practise consistently, and internalize the lessons. Those who do will undoubtedly emerge as better photographers. As they say when the student is ready, the Guru appears. Thank you, Vineet sir, for an unforgettable learning experience.

The three days I spent at the Moody Mumbai workshop with Vineet Vohra and Rohit Vohra was a rewarding experience in my photography journey. While challenging assignments that we pushed me beyond my creative comfort zone, Vineet’s practical tips during the photo sessions and the detailed review sessions, helped me see street photography in a completely new way. I left the workshop with a new way of observing and telling stories on the street. Overall, the workshop felt both challenging and deeply enjoyable, that inspires me to keep shooting and refining my work! Thank you Vineet & Rohit!

Kishan Harwalkar

This wasn’t a workshop filled with shortcuts or formulas. It was an honest, thoughtful experience that challenged the way I see and compose photographs. I left inspired, motivated and with a much clearer direction for my photography. Thank you, Vineet and Rohit for an unforgettable learning experience. I plan to attend my more workshops in the future.

Vinit Nair

The process that Vineet and Rohit have created makes their workshops an incredible learning experience, not just for building skill, but also in developing your own language. The review sessions are as enjoyable as the shoots. While shooting, they seem to always be around and yet you have your own space to discover your voice. They extract the best out of you, and make sure you improve continuously. They are truly masters.

This is way beyond the photo session! Thank You to Vineet and Rohit for all the sharing, your dedication of time, conversations, and probing the questions to us all to crack the idea of each individual. Giving the opportunity to be able to see the view of other great participants in the session is brilliant! The class and the course are very well structured, feedback and comments in the critiques session are extremely helpful in all ways, straight to the point which I found them all meaningful and surely will be a great contribution to personal development in future work. - Excellent session Big Kudos to Vineet and Rohit! Great experience ever!

Knowledge, experience and empathy make for great memories and sometimes giant leap in one’s photographic journey. Beyond teaching, Vineet and Rohit provided with mentorship. Backed with a powerful and energetic event, the Bangkok Pride, and wisely chosen places, they helped create the group’s dynamics. Furthermore they offered individual and precise advices to help fine tuning each one’s vision. The result : improvement in understanding street photography mechanisms and excitement of sharing as a group. What a nice session ! Thank you Vineet, thank you Rohit.

First workshop with Vineet and Rohit. Amazing experience to have participated. The review sessions were informative and the tips and advice were sharp and to the point which allows the participant to work on key areas during the workshop itself. Great bunch of guys and i'm looking forward to my next workshop with them already.
