From the Mentors

Bangkok is a city full of layers, energy, chaos, silence, and endless moments waiting to unfold. Over the last weekend of May, it was incredible to walk the streets together with such a passionate group of photographers, each bringing their own way of seeing and responding to the city.

What made this workshop truly special was the shared experience of observing, waiting, experimenting and, of course, the photographs that were created. Even the rain that arrived on one of the days could not dampen the spirits of the group. If anything, it brought out the best in everyone, pushing participants to adapt, embrace the unexpected, and create some remarkable photographs along the way.

As mentors, there is nothing more rewarding than watching participants trust their instincts and create work that feels personal and honest.

Bangkok always feels overwhelming to me...these images somehow make it feel intimate.

Loved seeing how differently each photographer responded to the same city. That's what makes these edits so interesting.
