APF is organising a 6 day intensive Photography Master Class which is tailor made to cater to needs of anyone who wishes to train their eyes to find order in chaos of Istanbul's streets and also the beautiful city of Cappadocia. The Master Class is for passionate individuals who want to polish their skills and break out of their comfort zones. We'll talk about street and travel photography. This workshop is designed to help enhance your style and find your vision by providing expert advice and knowledge.

About
Two cities, two entirely different worlds. Istanbul has been at the crossroads of civilisations for thousands of years, and it shows in everything. In its faces, its light, its streets, the way old and new collide without apology. We'll spend time in the bazaars, the neighbourhoods away from the tourist circuits, the ferries crossing the Bosphorus, the moments that happen between the monuments. Then we move to Cappadocia, where the landscape itself becomes the subject. Volcanic rock formations, cave dwellings, and at dawn, if conditions allow, hot air balloons rising over an impossible landscape. This is a workshop about contrast, ancient and modern, chaos and stillness, the human and the geological.

Am I experienced enough to join this workshop?+
This workshop is open to everyone. All participants are welcome at any stage in their practice, whether you are just starting out or an experienced professional.
We are not here to teach levels. We are here to shift perspective.
What Should I Bring+
- —A digital camera with a lens of your choice, wide angle lens preferably. You are most welcome to get your long telephoto lenses and zooms for your personal work.
- —A laptop with software to edit/tone your images. You can download free Photoshop / Lightroom for 30 days.
- —A notebook to take down notes during the workshop.
- —Fully charged batteries / extra batteries please, you will need them for your camera — please DO NOT FORGET this. We will be shooting long hours.
- —Comfortable walking shoes, sunblock, sunglasses. Shoes might get wet and dirty. It's a good idea to carry slippers / crocs (fast drying).
- —There can be times when we see unpredictable rains, so carry a light waterproof jacket.
- —The creative side of your brain. (Don't forget this.)
Terms and Conditions+
- —Full payment must be completed before the start of the workshop.
- —APF reserves the right to cancel a workshop if minimum participation is not met. In such cases, a full refund will be issued. Participants will be informed well in advance.
- —We may make small changes to the workshop structure/itinerary if needed, based on real world conditions or to improve the experience.
- —Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
- —If you cancel 90 days or more before the workshop, you will receive a full refund minus a 10 percent administrative fee.
- —If you cancel between 60 to 89 days before the workshop, 50 percent of the fee will be charged.
- —If you cancel within 60 days of the workshop, the full 100 percent fee will be charged.
- —You may transfer your spot to another participant if you are unable to attend, provided you inform us in advance.
